Born  in San Juan, Puerto Rico, November 20, 1949; admitted to bar in 1974, Puerto Rico and United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico; 1975, United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit; 1980, United States Supreme Court. Education: Texas A&M University (B.B.A., 1971); University of Puerto Rico (J.D., 1974).   Member of the  American Bar Association, International Association of Defense Counsel, Federation of Insurance and Corporate Counsel, Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, International Association for Insurance Law, Defense Research Institute, Federal Bar Association, and Puerto Rico Bar Association.
